Streetsboro Swears in Ward City Council Members

Before the regularly scheduled meeting Monday, the City of Streetsboro swore in its Ward City Council Members who were recently elected in the November 7th election.

In Ward 1, Marianne Glenn defeated two others to earn the spot. Marianne was appointed in 2023 due to the resignation of the former Ward 1 representative.

In Ward 2, Anthony Lombardo defeated one other candidate to keep his position. Anthony was appointed in 2021 due to the resignation of the former Ward 2 representative.

In Ward 3, incumbent Jennifer Wagner ran unopposed and earned another four years in office.

In Ward 4, newcomer and unopposed candidate Lisa McDaniel won and will be serving her first term on City Council. She ran in place of previous Ward 4 Council Member, Julie Field, who chose not to seek reelection.

Streetsboro News will be conducting interviews with each of these representatives to give the residents of the city the chance to learn about their representatives.

In addition to swearing in the new members, City Council recognized former City Council Member, Julie Field, for her 12 years in office.

Streetsboro Mayor Glenn Broska, who was reelected on November 7th, will be sworn into his 4th term on Friday, December 15th at 6pm
